Jerry Boren started out at Lake Tahoe about 45 years ago as a young guy right out of college. He hit Tahoe in the swinging’ 70s era and really got in at the ground floor of a then very modest real estate industry. He and his dad, Fran Boren, decided to open up their own brokerage firm and basically sold what were then new developments all along Pioneer Trail, Myers and the Tahoe Keys. With his natural aptitude for selling Jerry quickly became on the top agents at the Lake and launched his second firm, Zephyr Real Estate.

Over the years Jerry has seen how the area has changed, and has been smart enough to change with it. He’s listed or sold the majority of homes along Tahoe’s South and East Shore’s; has been involved with numerous real estate projects; worked with many high profile clients from all over the world; and has ridden the wave of real estate trends. In other words, Jerry has pretty much seen it all in the Tahoe real estate market and throughout has constantly maintained his positive outlook. Combine that with his experience and irrepressible charm and you have a tried and true Tahoe Realtor that can give you the real skinny on the past, present and future of Lake Tahoe real estate.

Today Jerry sits at the helm of one of the most successful real estate brokerage firms at the lake and works closely with Gayle Boren on his short sale transactions.  Having worked with Jerry for 12 years, Gayle credits her own success and real estate savvy to him.  As the dynamic duo of the early 2000s, this team carved out a niche of unrivaled sales and uncompromised service to their clientele and took Lake Tahoe by storm with a fresh approach to a rather stagnant and unconforming real estate community.
